LDS Stands for Latter-day Saints, It is a mission of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) is a geographic district to which the Church’s missionaries are assigned. Nearly every area of the world is within the mission of the Church of Latter-day Saints, regardless of whether Church missionaries live in or convert to that area.

The main purpose of LDS mission is:
“People come unto Christ by helping them accept the restored gospel by believing in Jesus Christ and His Atonement, repenting, being baptized, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end.
LDS Mission is run by Missionaries Single men serve two years and single women serve 18 months of mission. Missionaries receive assignments from Church headquarters and are sent only to countries where the government permits the Church to operate.
